We at CS.MONEY are looking for an experienced Fullstack Python Engineer to join the team and take a key role in developing our payment gateway.

Our stack:

  • React, TypeScript, MobX, Astro
  • Node.js, Express, NestJS
  • Python, FastAPI, Kafka, Temporal, Microservices
  • K8s, HashiCorp Vault, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry
  • PostgreSQL, Redis

Upcoming tasks:

  • Integrate new payment providers and methods end-to-end — from backend integration to UI updates.
  • Migrate existing payment solutions from different products into a unified gateway (currently each team has its own implementations).
  • Ensure security and reliability: minimize vulnerabilities and prevent critical issues.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Python development (preferably in microservices-based systems).
  • Experience with payment systems and provider APIs (Stripe, PayPal, crypto payments, or local processors).
  • Strong frontend skills (React.js, TypeScript) for implementing payment UI.
  • Experience designing and maintaining microservices; familiarity with Kafka and workflow systems (Temporal is a plus).
  • Understanding of fault-tolerant system design principles.
  • Ability to own tasks end-to-end: from design to deployment.
  • Strong focus on security when working with payment data.
  • Willingness to propose architectural and process improvements.
  • Team-oriented mindset: collaborate closely with product teams to ensure payment methods are seamless and reliable.
  • Readiness to work with and modify code in Node.js and Golang.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of PCI DSS standards and data security practices.
  • Experience consolidating or migrating heterogeneous payment solutions into a single gateway.
  • Experience working on projects with high financial and operational security requirements.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
